This page explains what personal data Lovemate Customs collects, why, and what your rights are. It is meant to be plain and short.

Who is responsible

Lovemate Customs is a sole proprietorship operated by Luiza Galdi, based in Switzerland. I am the data controller for any personal data processed on this site or in the course of an order.

What I collect

I collect only what I need to make and ship your order:

• The photo or scan of the note you'd like stitched, sent to me via Instagram DM or email.
• Your name, shipping address, and email address, collected by Stripe at checkout and forwarded to me to fulfil the order.
• Any messages you send me through Instagram or email.

This website does not use analytics, tracking pixels, or marketing cookies.

Why I collect it

To make and deliver your keepsake, to communicate with you about your order, and to meet legal record-keeping requirements.

The legal basis is the performance of our contract under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nFADP) and, where applicable to EU residents, Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR.

Who else sees your data

To run the business I rely on these processors:

• Stripe: payment processing. Stripe collects and processes your name, email, shipping address, and payment details.
• Airtable (Formagrid Inc., USA): used to keep track of orders. Names, email addresses, shipping addresses, and order details are stored there.
• Meta (Instagram): when you DM me, your message and photo are stored on Meta's servers under their terms.

I do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with anyone else.

International transfers

Stripe, Airtable, and Meta are based in or transfer data to the United States. Where required, these providers rely on safeguards such as standard contractual clauses, adequacy decisions, or comparable data-transfer mechanisms.

How long I keep your data

• Order details and contact information: kept for the duration of legal record-keeping obligations under Swiss law (currently 10 years).
• Photos of your note: kept while the order is in progress and for a short period after delivery in case there is a problem with the order.
• Instagram messages: stored on Meta's servers according to their retention rules.

Your rights

Whether you're a Swiss or EU resident, you have the right to:

• Know what data I hold about you
• Have it corrected if it's wrong
• Have it deleted, where I'm not required to keep it
• Object to or restrict its processing
• Receive a copy in a portable format
• Lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner or your local data protection authority
